NFL Draft – Let's get this on the calendar

Thursday April 30th – 1st Round

I'm sure we all want to create new draft day memories, like 2012 when Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden made their way into our memories.

I clearly remember driving to our get-together on 10th Ave, when one of you jackasses asked "if I heard". Probably Rob cause he is on the Twitter. In traffic I was told of the smoke-filled trade that Spielman conjured up. As I remember, the story was that the Buccaneers were in hot for T-Rich and wanted to jump the Browns at #4 overall. So all before the draft started, which is unprecedented, the Browns eager for an over-hyped heavy-footed RB they took in the smokiness in heaping puffs, and decided to trade the farm to move up from #4 to #3. After hearing this, I distinctly remember the internal debate to turn around and go home.

Later that evening, Brandon Weeden found anything but love from your's truly. If you don't recall I was a Weeden-hater before seeing him throw. All it took was seeing his whiny round bitch face, and I was knew where to focus my fandom concerns. So when they announced the AARP pick, I banging my forehead to the table for a few minutes. Then realizing that I probably had another 4 good years of seeing the Browns draft high, I raised my head. What did I see? The enjoyment you all had in my misery.
