What Are We Doing For The Draft?

This post is only about answering one single question, which is it's title.

This is not about the Vikings or Browns. It's not about Gow's Big Board (although I appreciate all your work, Gowser). It's not about stupid Blake Bortles perceived strong arm (it's not). It's not about proposed rule changes to the FF league, or even if we should be discussing them at said get-together.

All I want to know is: What are we doing for the Draft?

The implication is already built into the question. There is no "are we doing something..."

We are. I've already squared it away at home, and you should too, if you haven't already. You still have  2 weeks.

We just need to determine the details, specifically where to meet/watch said draft. My only ask is that the place has the audio of the draft going through their speakers.

I look forward to your contributions.

  1. I was just going to send a text about this. I'm in. For whereever had sound.

  2. In. Not sure where, but audio is a must.

  3. I have also received permission from the boss to attend whatever gathering we have that night. I'm not going to suggest a place because anything I suggest would be in the Mankato area, and call it a hunch but I believe attendance would suffer if I hosted down here. Anyway, I'll let you guys sort out the details

  4. This has not been the productive discussion that I had hoped... I may have to resort to sending emails.

  5. Ok, I'll throw out Pour House since it was the home for MNF.

  6. It's an obvious option... I wish the food/service was better... I would guess that they would have the audio going.

  7. so I'm clear we're talking about Thursday the 8th? What time would we meet? Pourhouse is good, unless we can find a BWW with sound or an old country buffet to make crabs feel at home.

  8. I won't be available on Thursday since I'll be playing (or failing at) softball. If I was going, I would throw out Senser's in Bloomington or Roseville since I'm sure they'll have audio going.

  9. Sorry Andy, that I don't fit into your high class world of Olive Gardens and Red Lobsters. I'll do my best to not embarrass you or myself.

  10. I'd be cool with a BWW. The last time I went to one was for that morning radio show thing in Lakeville. But which one? Are people going to go home before the draft or leave straight from work?

  11. I'm taking a half-day on both Thursday and Friday. So I'll be a table saver.
