Christian Ponder, the saddest Viking in all the landFor some reason, I still watch as many Vikings games as I can every season, which turns out to be most of them. I'm willing to chip in with Vikings updates when I can, and this is about the extent of depth you can expect from me each week, which is really all you need for this go-nowhere team.

Are we rooting for them to lose yet? Are we "Tanking for Teddy"?

Personally, I don't like rooting for my team to lose, but you need ELITE quarterbacks to be successful in this league. Ponder is currently anywhere between below-average to dumpster fire, depending on who you ask. But what is his upside? Average, at best?
Sigh... I think I will still root for them to win (for now), but I hope that along the way they realize Ponder can't be the long-term solution.
And if we lose this weekend, we suddenly have a very good shot at a Top-5 draft pick...
I'm still not sold on Teddy Bridgewater, that might change a little bit... but not much. Right now, I don't feel that there are elite/franchise QBs for next year's draft. I know a lot of experts have name dropped, but I find it to be way more hype than reality.
