I'm working on a calculation to figure out the percentage of bid versus next highest bid, or WTF? percentage. If my calculations are correct (which they probably aren't), Terrance Williams is a worse overbid that Julian Edelman... My numbers really don't favor those who go against 0 bids.
Player | Cost | Team | Next Highest Bid | Differential | Pickup week |
Jay Cutler | $11 | Juan | $11 | $0 | 6 |
Danarius Moore | $16 | Marcus | $9 | 7 | 6 |
Steven Hauschka* | $2 | Bill | $0 | 2 | 6 |
Terrance Williams | $12 | Bill | $0 | 12 | 6 |
* denotes player with a $0 bid by another team.
I got money to spend! Also, I'm a little shell-shocked about Julio Jones going down for what sounds like the rest of the year. The way I see it, Terrance Williams could equal Victor Cruz of 2011, or he could be the next Santana Moss-like receiver that I will drop for someone else next week. Either way, this sucks with no Julio.
